Michelle Cornelison is a true powerhouse in the property management industry, with 2025 marking her 31st year. Like many in this industry, she had no plans to be in property management. Ask her how her love for horses led her to the beginning of what has been an incredible journey and career.
At the heart and start of it all, was her time spent on site, leasing homes, managing teams. Be it Class A luxury or Class C, affordable or conventional, there are few property types she’s not personally managed. Her early experience came from managing tough assets with complex affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD and RD.
Michelle’s property management acumen goes on to include 6 years traveling the country, following construction trailers and achieving aggressive lease-up deadlines. The past 20, in key corporate leadership roles where she has been dubbed ‘the heart” and “the company cheerleader” for her role in shaping cultures of organizations.
She has created training divisions for two national property management companies and spent the past 15 years training employees at all levels of the organization, including Directors, Regionals and Leadership.
